This Week at Brindishe Green

Dear Children, Families, Staff, Governors and Friends,

Last Friday we were joined by two local authority reviewers from Lewisham who came to look at the quality of education at Brindishe Green. Our visitors popped into classes from Nursery to Year 6, spoke to children about their learning and talked to teachers and leaders from around the school. They were both extremely impressed by the strong culture of ambition, positive energy, motivation, sense of purpose and commitment that they observed at all levels. They said that the behaviour was exemplary, the children were learning everywhere they looked and that lessons were exciting and engaging. They said teamwork was a strength and that staff were nurturing and wanted the very best for their children. They said they could see that this culture was embedded in our everyday practice.
We would like to thank all our staff for the hard work, dedication and energy that they bring to school every day, in order to provide the very best education for all our children.

This week we were visited by some very special feathered friends, when the children in Years 1-6 met a number of beautiful birds of prey. The children learnt about where they originated, their diet and observed them fly above their heads in the hall. The children all behaved very well and were in awe of these wonderful creatures. Thank you to the BFG for funding this event.

We wish you all a peaceful weekend,

We hope you all have a peaceful and enjoyable weekend,
The Brindishe Green Senior Leadership Team
