Welcome parents, carers, staff & governors

Dear Parents/Carers,

It was so lovely today to see so many children and staff dressed up ready for a royal celebration. Children and staff have enjoyed taking part in a range of fun, royal and regal activities today as well as having lunch outside with their classmates. Cucumber sandwiches and scones were devoured by many children today!  Please refer to the class Weduc pages as well as the images below for a glimpse of our special Jubilee day.

Other school highlights this week included, a Governor visit from our Chair, Liz, who enjoyed a tour of the school and speaking to the children about their learning. Another highlight was the Year 4’s trip to the Church of the Good Shepherd whereby on their return to school, a child rejoiced by saying ‘That was the best trip ever!’.  This week Year 6 children took part in a wellbeing workshop delivered by Kooth. In addition to this, class photos took place this week, fortunately the sun was shining!

Our Sharing Learning opportunity proved to be a great success on Thursday. It was so good to see the children proudly showing their parents/carers all their lovely learning after school. Thank you parents/carers for your ongoing support. Please see listed below future dates for sharing learning opportunities at Brindishe Lee.

Finally, please can we remind you it is half-term next week plus the Queen’s Jubilee, so school will be closed until Tuesday 7th June.

 Have a lovely weekend everyone!

Kind regards,

Ms Sebire & the Brindishe Lee Team.
